Besides my role as a Solutions Engineer, another important mission for me and my colleagues in the Zerion Software Hong Kong office is to drive user growth in the Asia-Pacific region. I recently traveled to Singapore to represent Zerion Software at the Echelon Asia Summit 2015 where we showcased the iFormBuilder platform and related technologies to potential clients, solution partners, and tech media with the goal of bringing our platform to more businesses in the region and making their workflow smarter.
Echelon Asia Summit is an annual tech conference for Asia’s technology leaders, innovative businesses, bold investors, and forward-thinking industry representatives to leverage on future trends currently shaping Asia’s internet and mobile markets. For two days, delegates forge new alliances with Asia’s most noteworthy startup and investment players and build long-lasting investment, trade, and market-access partnerships.
The Summit took place at an exhibition hall in the Singapore Expo Center. The exhibitions ranged from big and small startups that are based in Singapore and other Asian countries to established tech companies like ZenDesk and Paypal. The atmosphere and energy were filled with hundreds of conversations and drones that were being flown around the hall.
This year, we are bringing iFormBuilder to more Asian countries by working with local technology solutions consultants that possess local market and business knowledge. Connecting with solution partners, potential clients, and tech media was a great opportunity to learn more about the region’s marketplace.
In addition to the Summit, this trip helped me gain a new perspective of Singapore. In the past, I traveled with a tour group and visited all of the attractions. It was fascinating to learn about Singapore’s culture and lifestyle through my conversations with the locals. One thing I like about Singapore is their multiculturalism and use of the Internet of Things in transportation planning. Next year’s Echelon Asia Summit is bound to be great!
